- 4 / 5By David MatzThis is the largest Mexican restaurant in Fairbanks. There is plenty of seating for families small or large or groups. It is smoke free and has a full bar available. Service is quick, friendly, and attentive. That combination is fairly rare in Fairbanks. The staff seems to have a lot less turnover than other restaurants in town. The menu is plentiful and the food is consistently good. Plates come out hot, with plenty of rice and beans on the side of the entrees. The fried ice cream is an excellent dessert. Kids eat free on Tuesday. Appetizers are half off in the bar area during some sporting events. Since some of the appetizers eat like a meal, both are good ways to save a bit of money. I would say that this is my favorite place in town for sit down Mexican food in Fairbanks.November 03, 2016
